MOORESVILLE, NC (January 12, 2022) – Team Penske announced today that it will field an entry in the 2022 World Endurance Championship (WEC), racing an ORECA 07-Gibson in the LMP2 class. Former IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship drivers Dane Cameron and Felipe Nasr will be joined by veteran sports car racer Emmanuel Collard for the upcoming season.

Season Review | Joey Logano, Team Penske
Team Penske came into 2021 after a NASCAR Cup Series season in which two of the organization’s three drivers made the Championship 4. Unfortunately for “The Captain,” neither was able to get the job done in the final race a year ago and Penske’s championship hopes faded to black. Team Penske was hoping to resurface as a top-tier team in 2021 and achieve a better season in terms of final results. Perhaps the veteran trio of drivers could capture Roger Penske that elusive NASCAR championship. The season certainly started out with promise. However, the catastrophic end for the Penske group in the Daytona 500 foreshadowed what would ultimately turn out to be a rather difficult season. (more…)
Luke Lambert Named Crew Chief for Gragson, No. 9 Team at JRM

(Jan. 4, 2021) – JR Motorsports has named veteran NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series crew chief Luke Lambert to lead its No. 9 Bass Pro Shops/TrueTimber®/Black Rifle Coffee team with driver Noah Gragson for the 2022 season. It took a long time for a team driving a Radical sports racer to win the 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance. The first time that happened was in 2019, and since there was no 25 Hour in 2020, the 2021 event marks the second consecutive time a team running a Radical SR3 has won the grueling 25-hour event. In his first three career appearances in the Snowball Derby, Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH and the LCM Motorsports Super Late Model effort have shown continuous improvement the past three Decembers at Five Flags Speedway. But, he is adding an additional challenge for his 2021 journey to Pensacola, Florida; doing Super and Pro Late Model double duty as he looks to also qualify for his first Allen Turner Snowflake 100. Bob Tasca III And Motorcraft/Quick Lane Team Win Auto Club NHRA Finals
POMONA, Calif. – Bob Tasca III of Hope, RI and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Funny Car Team won the Auto Club NHRA Finals this evening (Nov. 14). As a result, Tasca vaulted into third place in the final 2021 NHRA Nitro Funny Car standings, setting a personal best.
