NESTN Introduces Revenue Sharing Direct to Thunder Road Teams with 20% Point Fund Increase
After announcing a five-year deal with FloRacing on Thursday, Thunder Road officials announced Friday (1/30/26) that the North East Short Track Network (NESTN) will stream the remaining eight events, introducing a Revenue Sharing Model to increase the point funds by 20%. (Alan Ward photo)

Barre, VT – It was announced (Friday, January 30, 2026) that Thunder Road Speedbowl signed a new five-year contract with FloRacing set to stream twelve events, a change that allowed for the eight remaining events to be streamed elsewhere. In stepped the North East Short Track Network (NESTN), a partnership that has built a new Revenue Sharing Model that will increase the Thunder Road point fund by 20%!

NASCAR settles lawsuit with race teams, grants form of “evergreen” charters

23XI Front Row Motorsports NASCARCHARLOTTE, N.C.—Moments after Judge Kenneth D. Bell announced a settlement agreement and dismissed the jury Thursday in the case of “23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports v. NASCAR,” the healing already had begun.

NASCAR president Steve O’Donnell was smiling as he slapped Michael Jordan on the back. The co-owner of 23XI, one of the plaintiffs in the case, smiled back and the two men—adversaries in the antitrust litigation just a day earlier—talked pleasantly for a moment.

NASCAR, Two Race Teams Ready For Monday’s Beginning Of Antitrust Trial

NASCARThe lawsuit brought against NASCAR by two of its Cup Series race teams is set to begin Monday at the Federal Courthouse in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Barring an 11th-hour development, the lawsuit titled “23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports v. NASCAR” will open with jury selection and likely proceed to opening statements on the first day of trial before Judge Kenneth D. Bell.

Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing Teams JMF Motorsports and Dome Motorsport Secure Double-Podium Showings in SRO America Competition at VIRginia International Raceway

ALTON, Virginia – Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing teams JMF Motorsports and Dome Motorsport each turned in double-podium performances Saturday and Sunday in the SRO America race weekend at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR). The No. 34 JMF Motorsports Mercedes-AMG GT3 team, and co-drivers Mikael Grenier and Michai Stephens, finished third and second in the Pro class, respectively, in each of the GT World Challenge America races on Saturday and Sunday, but it was the first-year Dome Motorsport team that made the weekend’s breakout statement with twin second-place Pirelli GT4 America race finishes with team drivers Marc Miller and last-minute substitute Nate Cicero in the No. 37 Dome Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT4.

23XI And FRM Lose NASCAR Charters After Court Ruling, Will Run As Open Teams

Nick DeGroot of Motorsport reports that (t)he courts have ruled against 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports in their request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) as they seek a new preliminary injunction. The hope was that they would secure a TRO in order to prevent NASCAR from revoking their charters, but that has failed. They will compete as open entries at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend.

23XI fields the No. 23 of Bubba Wallace, No. 35 of Riley Herbst, and the No. 45 of Tyler Reddick. FRM has the the No. 4 of Noah Gragson, the No. 34 of Todd Gilliland, and the No. 38 of Zane Smith.
