Dempsey-Wright Motorsports, Dempsey, and Long Welcome Tanner Foust to Austin Six-Hour Effort

BATAVIA, Ohio. (October 22, 2024) – In anticipation of the conclusion of the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America championship at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) next month, Dempsey-Wright Motorsports has announced the addition of Tanner Foust to the driver lineup of the No. 98 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, joining Patrick Dempsey and Patrick Long to the season finale event.

“It’s an incredible honor to be invited as the third driver for this powerhouse motorsports duo,” said Foust. “Pat Long and Patrick Dempsey are two of my personal heroes; they are both extremely inspirational on and off the track. NASCAR partners with BLAST for upcoming $3 million FNCS Global Championship & RLCS World Championship 2024 events at Dickies Arena

Esport entertainment company BLAST has announced a partnership with NASCAR to sponsor the FNCS Global Championship and Rocket League World Championship 2024, which are set to take place at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 7-8 and 10-15 respectively.

Both competitions will be held at Dickies Arena with more than $3 million in total combined prize pool on offer across both events. Across the two championships, over 35 countries will be represented with over 148 players from around the world coming to Fort Worth to compete on a global stage. (more…)

Through 43 NASCAR Cup Series races held at Texas Motor Speedway, 76% of them have been won from a top-10 starting position, making Busch Light Pole Qualifying on Saturday, April 13 (10:30 a.m. ET on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) especially significant to the teams this weekend.

The third starting position is the most proficient starting position in the field producing more winners (eight) than any other starting spot on the grid.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series will be heading to the state of Texas for the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, the eighth race of the season.

In total, Texas Motor Speedway has hosted 45 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, producing 24 different race winners and 27 different pole winners. Six races have been won from the pole or first starting position, most recently by Ryan Blaney in 2018.
