Nashville, Tenn. (December 1, 2022) – With one of the longest-running relationships in racing history, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and NASCAR today announced a new multi-year agreement renewing Goodyear’s position as the exclusive tire for NASCAR’s top three national series.
The agreement continues Goodyear’s designation as the “Official Tire of NASCAR,” as well as the title sponsor of the annual Goodyear 400, NASCAR’s Official Throwback Weekend Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway.
Paul Wolfe’s partnership with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT nearly began many years earlier, back when the young crew chief was a budding talent atop the pit box looking for a steady NASCAR gig, and back when the teenaged driver was most closely connected with the “Sliced Bread” nickname as a next-big-thing prospect. The judges at this year’s Top Gear Awards have decided that the Koenigsegg Jesko is the worthy winner of ‘Hypercar of the Year’, recognizing the striking design and the innovations under the hood that deliver incredible performance.
Coming into the 2021 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance, Team Entropy Racing EVSR Electric Racing Team estimated it would have to swap the two 350-pound batteries every nine to 11 laps, but it ended up with an efficient 14 laps per battery change. Thunderhill Raceway set the team up with a charging station near the entrance to the track, allowing the team to shuttle the batteries back and forth using a heavy-duty cart. (more…)

Over the course of six races, Brad Sweet watched an almost 100-point lead shrink to 16 as David Gravel of Watertown, CT went on a late-season run and now chases Sweet into the World of Outlaws Sprint Car World Finals on November 2, 4-5.
