NASCAR Modified Feature Decided By A Car Length In A Photo Finish With Duane Howard Edging Ryan Watt In Grandview Speedway Thriller

Grandview SpeedwayBECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It was another night of competitive racing for the history books on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway, with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modified feature coming down to the final lap and the final turn for the second consecutive week.

Scoring the exciting and dramatic victory was defending track champion Duane Howard of Oley, Pa., who was able to stave off challenges from Ryan Watt of Boyertown, Pa. over the final five laps of the 30-lap feature, to score the win by a car’s length at the checkered flag.

This dramatic and exciting feature was one week after Jared Umbenhauer of Richland, Pa. held off several late race challenges last week from Justin Grim of Orefield, Pa. to score the win by about a car’s length at the finish.

PORTLAND, OR – A dramatic overtime pass for the win punctuated a nearly perfect afternoon for JR Motorsports driver Connor Zilisch at Portland (Ore.) International Raceway, where the 19-year old claimed his series-best eighth NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the season – the best series victory total ever for a rookie driver.

Only weeks removed from breaking his collarbone celebrating another win – at the Watkins Glen, N.Y. road course – Zilisch claimed pole position, won both stages, set fastest lap and celebrated it all in Victory Circle of the famed 1.967-mile road course in the scenic Pacific Northwest.

OHSWEKEN, ON, Canada—There’s a reason so many circled the return of Ohsweken Speedway when the 2025 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series schedule was released. Wednesday night showed exactly why.

The Federated Auto Parts Showdown at Ohsweken brought The Greatest Show on Dirt back to Canada for the first time since 2017. Ohsweken was a staple of the schedule from the late 2000s to 2017 before the hiatus. The slick 3/8 mile delivered thrillers without fail whenever the tour rolled to town. Hype was off the charts heading into Wednesday, and Ohsweken didn’t let us down.
