Barre, VT – 2000 NASCAR Cup Series Champion Bobby Labonte is ready to make his Thunder Road debut this Thursday, July 9 on NESTN.tv Night at the Nation’s Site of Excitement! The legendary Texan will pilot a car tuned by both Dale and DJ Shaw this Thursday for 100 laps with the Maplefields/Irving Late Models while the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers also take down 100 laps in their 2nd annual Tiger $2K!

The Maplefields/Irving Late Models have been looking forward to the chance to take on another NASCAR legend and they’ll get their chance this week! Justin Prescott has propelled himself ahead of the championship standings and will be one to watch in extra-distance action on Thursday alongside fellow King of the Road hopefuls Jason Corliss, Brandon Gray, Christopher Pelkey and Bobby Therrien.

Macri Checks Off A Bucket List Win At Grandview & Pockets $10,000 In Hodnett Cup Speed Week Victory, Pauch Prevails In Thrilling Mod Thunder Doubleheader Tuesday Night

BECHTELSVILLE, PA (June 30, 2026) — A packed house filled Grandview Speedway on Tuesday night as the Levan Machine & Truck Equipment Thunder on the Hill Racing Series hosted the fifth stop of Pennsylvania Sprint Car Speed Week Series of 2026. “The Concrete Kid” Anthony Macri earned one of the biggest victories of his career by capturing the prestigious Hodnett Cup and the $10,000 top prize, while Billy Pauch Jr. outdueled Eddie Strada and a field of forty-two modifieds to win the 30-lap NASCAR 358 Modified feature paying $3,000 to win. The fans were treated to outstanding, nonstop racing as both feature events went the distance without a single caution flag.

“I’ve wanted to win here so bad. This is a bucket list win that I finally get to check off,” said Macri after earning his first career Thunder on the Hill victory.

Tuesday night, May 19 the Levan Machine & Truck Equipment Thunder on the Hill Racing Series will open at the Grandview Speedway when Levan Machine & Truck Equipment and RICH MAR Florist present the fourth visit of the Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing Roto-Rooter Midweek 410 Sprint Series. The roster of talent is impressive with expected entries Ryan Timms, Tyler Courtney, Kyle Larson, Tanner Thorson, Aaron Reutzel, Brent Marks, Kasey Kahne and defending High Limit Champion Rico Abreu. Local PA Posse talent will be in chase of the $20,000 first place prize and in addition, Alpine Building Supply added a $2,000 bonus if a PA driver tops the High Limit stars to win the 35 lap Hodnett Cup.

NESTN Introduces Revenue Sharing Direct to Thunder Road Teams with 20% Point Fund Increase

Barre, VT – It was announced (Friday, January 30, 2026) that Thunder Road Speedbowl signed a new five-year contract with FloRacing set to stream twelve events, a change that allowed for the eight remaining events to be streamed elsewhere. For possibly the first time ever, the two defending four-cylinder champions of White Mountain and Thunder Road Speedbowl are both moving up to the Late Model class in a landmark battle for Rookie of the Year at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track this summer!
