No amateur endurance race requires more preparation than the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance, and these last few weeks before the race begins are the most critical time. The longest close-course race in North America, the 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance, takes months of preparation from the whole team.
It took a long time for a team driving a Radical sports racer to win the 25 Hours of Thunderhill Presented by Hawk Performance. The first time that happened was in 2019, and since there was no 25 Hour in 2020, the 2021 event marks the second consecutive time a team running a Radical SR3 has won the grueling 25-hour event. In endurance racing, there are a lot more factors in play, and someone on the team needs to put them all together to form a comprehensive strategy the whole team understands.
