Understandably, Tom resisted the temptation to travel across the country in 2022 to compete in the double-header out west in California. Something that inevitably prevented him from maximizing his points total among the most competitive class in the Trans Am Series.
Sheehan Survives TA2 Barrel for Top Twenty Finish
Austin, TEXAS – November 9, 2022 – New Hampshire’s Tom Sheehan made the long trip down to Texas worthwhile with what he called a fun drive in the final round of the 2022 Trans Am presented by Pirelli Championship season. One of the most experienced and skilful drivers on the circuit, Tom survived a minor shunt to finish in the Top 20 despite damage to the car slowing his progress over the final laps.

Hebert Finally Tastes NHMS Victory at Northeast Classic
Loudon, NH — Reigning American-Canadian Tour (ACT) champion Jimmy Hebert of Williamstown, VT finally scored a long-awaited victory at Loudon’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Sunday, April 18 in the inaugural Northeast Classic. Sheehan’s Top Ten Charge Halted Early at Road Atlanta
Braselton, GEORGIA – March 29, 2021 – Tom Sheehan’s bid for a second top ten finish this season was halted prematurely on Sunday, March 28 through no fault of the driver himself. An electronic control unit problem and harness issue caused him to retire after 26 laps. The LTK Ford Mustang was lying in 11th place at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta inside a field of 26 TA2 cars and poised for a typical late charge at the leaderboard. (more…)
