Alera Group, formerly Noyle Johnson Insurance, has stepped up to support this rough and rowdy Triple Crown with events on Thursday, July 30, Sunday, August 2 and Thursday, August 6.

Tommy Kendall, Dorsey Schroeder and Mike Joy to headline Historic Lime Rock Trans Am celebration
LAKEVILLE, Connecticut (12 March 2026) – Lime Rock Park will welcome Tommy Kendall, Dorsey Schroeder and Mike Joy to Historic Festival 44 during Labor Day weekend, September 3–7, as the Connecticut circuit celebrates the return of Historic Trans Am racing to its 1.5-mile course.
The legendary trio, whose names are synonymous with Trans Am racing and have all had a wide-ranging impact on the sport, will appear throughout the weekend meeting fans, participating in autograph sessions and celebrating the era of American V8 road racing that defined the Trans Am series through the 1990s.
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 11,2026) – The N.C. Department of Transportation’s Rail Division announced today that NC By Train, the state’s passenger rail service, will run a special train from Raleigh to Rockingham Speedway for NASCAR’s return in April.
“After receiving positive feedback from last year’s event-day train service, we’re excited to bring this unique travel experience back,” said NCDOT Rail Division Director Jason Orthner. “We also want to thank our partners CSX, Amtrak and Track Enterprises for their support in providing this opportunity to get race fans to The Rock. This stop, along with the other special stops NC By Train offers year‑round, helps people bypass potential parking and traffic delays so they can enjoy a comfortable trip to major events like this one across the state.”
Ryan Blaney won the Cup race at Phoenix. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finished 13th while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT took 31st. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield CT ended his day in 33rd place.
In the NASCAR O’Reilly Series it was Justin Allgaier taking that one with Anthony Alfredo in tenth.
In the Indy Car race at the same track Joseph Newgarden went to Victory Lane while Santino of Woodbury, CT came in 11th.
Two grassroots racing organizations will collaborate to celebrate their 2025 champions on Saturday March 28th when the Suffolk Association of Figure Eight Racing and the Long Island Enduro Racing groups present their annual awards ceremony in a combined effort. Tom Ferrara and Kim Hyde of S.A.F.E.R and Long Island Enduro Racing honchos Eric Germuth and Mairah Lawrence got together during the 2025 season to combine the two award ceremonies after each having hosted separate affairs over recent years.

Lime Rock Park is thrilled to announce the launch of our Intro to Racing program, a structured entry point onto the main circuit designed specifically for novices and first-time track drivers. Participants use their own street cars and progress through a supervised curriculum that combines classroom instruction and on-track experience.
Intro to Racing is a five-hour program that combines classroom sessions with paced laps, coached stop-box exercises and controlled open lapping. Instructors review safety procedures, vehicle dynamics, racing lines and flag communication before drivers apply those lessons on track.

Headlining the opening night program will be the DIRTcar Pro Late Models, joined by a strong lineup that also includes DIRTcar Modifieds, DIRTcar Pro Mods, DIRTcar Sportsman, MARA Midgets, and Crown Vics. With a wide mix of divisions and drivers expected to compete, the Door Buster opener traditionally delivers one of the most exciting nights of racing of the season.
