Kyle Larson Sweeps the Weekend at Watkins Glen
Kyle Larson pulled off a rare sweep of the weekend races at Watkins Glen. In the Xfinity race, he was the beneficiary of contact between the leaders that sent them both spinning and allowing Larson through to hold off AJ Allmendinger.
Fast forward to the rain delayed Sunday race and it was Larson once again holding off AJ for the win. But the win wasn’t without some controversy.

Justin Allgaier’s 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series season didn’t start out the way he had hoped. In five races, the driver of the No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet had only one top-10 finish. Allgaier had been involved in various on-track incidents and started the season at Daytona International Speedway by starting second and finishing 28th. But he turned that all around at Atlanta Motor Speedway last weekend by winning the race and taking home his first victory of the season all while punching his ticket to the Playoffs. (more…)
Santino Ferrucci Has Hard Act to Follow in Xfinity Series Debut
Though only 22-years old, Santino Ferrucci of Ridgefield, CT already has a long history in motorsports, but none of that experience has come in stock cars.
A professional driver since age 14, Ferrucci spent two years as a test driver for the Haas F1 team, before turning to IndyCar full-time in 2019. That same year, he finished seventh in the Indianapolis 500 to earn Rookie of the Year honors. (more…)
