FLORENCE, S.C.: Chad Bryant Racing’s Treyten Lapcevich put on a clinic Saturday night at Florence (S.C.) Motor Speedway holding off a hungry pack of challengers, including Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Doug Barnes Jr. to win the prestigious South Carolina 400.
The Canadian-born driver, who also has dual Canadian-American citizenship and drives under the Allrem Racing program, made history on Saturday night by winning that race.

SMART Modified Tour, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Wins in North Carolina
Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. Thompson, CT — Ronnie Williams used a late caution to win the Icebreaker 125 for the Outlaw Open Modified Series at Thompson Speedway back in April. Wednesday night, Williams didn’t need a late caution – he did it in dominating fashion. Williams took the lead early and rolled to the win after holding off Chris Pasteryak and on a flurry of late restarts. The victory came in the first of the summer Dash For Cash 50-lap, $5,000 to win races for the Outlaw Open Modifieds.
