North East, Pa. – (September 16, 2024) – The Race of Champions “Family of Series” plays a huge role in the biggest weekend of racing in the region at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., as part of Race of Champions Weekend leading up to the running of the VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250.
Just three weeks remain in the weekly racing season for 2024 at Seekonk Speedway. This Friday and Saturday night, the Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoffs continue with racing across nine different Seekonk divisions.
The battle is on to gain as many playoff points as possible in all divisions, as drivers continue to try and etch their name into the Final Four. It all begins on Friday night at 7 p.m. with five divisions of racing, followed by another four divisions of NASCAR Saturday racing at 6 p.m. On NASCAR Saturday, the East Coast Towing & Recovery Spectator Drags also will join the show for the final time during a weekly racing event this season. North East, Pa. – (September 9, 2024) – The Race of Champions Modified Series has had one of it’s most competitive seasons in history. Six different drivers have won races and 62 different driver’s have earned points as the Series heads into the biggest event of the season, the VP Racing Fuels 250 at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, PA.
Matt Hirschman of Northampton, PA; Jack Ely of Northampton, PA; Austin Kochenash of Danielsville, PA; Jake Lutz of Hamburg, NY; Ron Silk of Norwalk, CT; and Zane Zeiner of Bath, PA, who is the current series championship leader have all earned victories this season. Only Hirschman and Zeiner have visited victory lane multiple times. Hirschman’s victories came at Evans Mills (NY) Speedway and Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA, while Zeiner has swept the races at Chemung (NY) Speedrome.
