Allentown, PA – The 2026 Ironton Global Allentown Indoor Races will open in exciting fashion with a brand-new special event honoring one of short track racing’s most accomplished and respected figures: Will Cagle.
On Friday night, January 9, the top 10 fastest TQ Midget drivers in time trials will square off in a unique 15-lap Will Cagle Shootout, a tribute to the legendary racer who made his final competitive attempt at the inaugural Allentown Indoor Race back in 2016.
Corey LaJoie will race Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 Gainbridge Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.
Last weekend at Martinsville Speedway, LaJoie registered a fifth-place showing after battling water temperature issues early. The Concord, N.C., native rallied from outside the top 20 to secure his third top-five finish of the 2025 campaign.
LAS VEGAS, Nev. – After another dramatic NASCAR Cup Series Playoff elimination race last week, eight drivers move on to vie for the championship as the title chase moves forward with Sunday’s South Point 400 at the always thrilling 1.5-mile Las Vegas Motor Speedway (5:30 p.m. ET on USA Network, PRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
While the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs are in full swing at World Wide Technology Raceway at Gateway, the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoff field won’t be solidified until after Saturday night’s Nu Way 200 Sauced by Blues Hog at the 1.25-mile track (7:30 p.m. on CW, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
MOORESVILLE, NC (September 2, 2025) – Team Penske announced today that after 17 years driving for the legendary organization, Will Power will depart the team prior to the 2026 season. Will Power is one of INDYCAR’s most decorated drivers with 45 wins, two INDYCAR Championships (2014 and 2022) and one Indianapolis 500 victory. Power collected 42 of his INDYCAR victories during his time with Team Penske, in addition to 71 pole positions that have distinguished him as the greatest qualifier in series history.
While this is the first appearance in the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs for Shane Van Gisbergen, the 2025 Rookie of the Year candidate is certainly used to Playoff pressure.
With sunny skies overhead, a light coastal breeze and temperatures in the mid-70’s, it was an absolutely beautiful day for some racing on Saturday at Wiscasset Speedway.
Wiscasset Speedway brought the heat to the coast, hosting an action-packed Group 2 program that included the weekly T&L Automotive Modifieds, Portland Glass Strictly Streets, Dale’s Cash Fuel Roadrunners, the visiting Ladies Acceleration Tour and double features for the Wood Pellet Warehouse Late Models.
Nick DeGroot of Motorsport reports that (t)he courts have ruled against 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports in their request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) as they seek a new preliminary injunction. The hope was that they would secure a TRO in order to prevent NASCAR from revoking their charters, but that has failed. They will compete as open entries at Dover Motor Speedway this weekend.
23XI fields the No. 23 of Bubba Wallace, No. 35 of Riley Herbst, and the No. 45 of Tyler Reddick. FRM has the the No. 4 of Noah Gragson, the No. 34 of Todd Gilliland, and the No. 38 of Zane Smith.
