(Sept. 27, 2023) – HP Inc., which joined Hendrick Motorsports as a sponsor in October 2022, has extended its contract with the 14-time NASCAR Cup Series championship-winning organization. Hello race fans. Since we last met, Denny Hamlin won at Bristol to a chorus of boos usually saved for Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick was eliminated from the playoffs, Sherry Pollex passed away after a brave battle with cancer, and now Byron Williams wins at Texas to secure his position in the Round of 8.
William Byron didn’t lead all the laps at Watkins Glen but he sure led the most. In a simply dominating fashion, Byron schooled the field with this performance.
William Byron won the rain-shortened Atlanta race for his series leading fourth win of the year. Byron was leading the field when the caution for rain flew and with the race past the halfway point, it was a legit finish when the rain made its way to the track.
Ross Chastain can’t seem to shake controversy. Love him or hate him, it follows him around like a shadow. This week, William Byron found himself to be the fortunate recipient of a win thanks to another Chastain kerfuffle. This win puts Byron on top with 3 wins this season,. While only 5th in points, he is the leading candidate for the playoffs.
William Byron took full advantage of a late on-track incident between Ross Chastain and Kyle Larson to triumph in Sunday’s Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway and became the first three-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series this season. (more…)
The last two NASCAR Cup Series races have seen cautions in the final laps giving Hendrick Motorsports driver William Byron the last chance opportunities he needed to snag the two victories at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Phoenix Raceway. Now, the 25-year-old, Byron, heads to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Ambetter Health 400 on Sunday, March 19 at 3 p.m. ET (FOX, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio) looking for his third straight victory in the NASCAR Cup Series.
Hendrick Motorsports’ William Byron (64) and Kyle Larson (201) teamed up to lead 265 of the total laps at Phoenix and dominated the race. Kevin Harvick (14) and Brad Keselowski (1) were the only non-Chevy drivers to lead any laps at all in a race flat out owned by Chevy drivers.

Man, and some of you thought Fontana was a boring racetrack. Compared to what was on display at Las Vegas this weekend, NASCAR might want to think about razing that track instead of Fontana.
