The last weekend in August is traditionally known as the biggest race weekend for Pro Stock Racing in New England. Wiscasset Speedway was no exception from this rule this past weekend as they hosted a full Group 1 race program, highlighted by a 50-lap race for the Norm’s Used Cars Pro Stocks.

It was a must win for many drivers Saturday night at Daytona as the hunt to make the NASCAR Cup playoffs entered its final race. A lot of potential scenarios were in play for a number of drivers. But in the end, a driver already in the playoffs won and ended the playoff hopes for the rest.

Chemung, N.Y. (August 21, 2023) – Austin Beers of Northampton, Pa., utilized a three-wide move to grab the lead and run to victory in the Rod Spalding Classic at Chemung (N.Y.) Speedrome this past Saturday in the traditional “Night before the Glen” event.

William Byron didn’t lead all the laps at Watkins Glen but he sure led the most. In a simply dominating fashion, Byron schooled the field with this performance.
WATERFORD – Kyle James has returned to weekly action and has been working with a newly formed team over the past few weeks. He launched from the pole position to set the pace until Anthony Flannery shot on by taking Eric Berndt with him.
