Lewis, the Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, native who finished seventh in his ARCA debut a couple weeks ago on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, won Sunday’s Southern Illinois 100 presented by Lucas Oil at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. (more…)

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Jimmy Ryan had gone two years without winning a Sportsman Modified race at Devil’s Bowl Speedway until he scored on July 31. The next win took just four weeks, but that’s only part of the story. The Shoreham, Vt., veteran’s win was the highlight of The Stove Depot Night on Saturday, August 28, and Troy Audet, Chris Murray, Austin McKirryher, Willie Rice, Kamden Duffy, and Cody Greene also visited the winner’s circle. Oxford, ME — Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert snapped one of the driest spells of his racing career by winning the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) Oxford Plains 125 at Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, August 28. The reigning ACT champion dove underneath Turner, ME’s Ben Rowe on the backstretch with 27 laps to go and led the rest of the way to become the first repeat winner this season.

Barre, VT — Barre’s Jason Corliss made Thunder Road history by capturing his fifth Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model win of the season at Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night on Thursday, August 26. Corliss snatched the lead from Orange’s Chip Grenier with 14 laps to, then outlasted a charge by Montpelier’s Kyle Pembroke down the homestretch in front of one of the season’s largest crowds.
