Waterbury, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced the winners of the year-end contingency programs for the inaugural New England Late Model Challenge Cup. Awards from Port City Racecars, Five Star Race Car Bodies, and ARBodies came on top of the $17,300 in point fund money that has been distributed to the top-10 finishers.
Defending Grandview Speedway NASCAR Modified point champion Craig Von Dohren was able to keep current point leader Brett Kressley behind him for a change on Saturday night and went on to score his third win of the season in the 358 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series 30-lap Modified feature which was part of the T.P.Trailers and Truck Equipment Night at Grandview Speedway. Martin Truex, Jr. went out and showed everyone how it’s done. He won the first two Stages, led 248 of 293 laps and then went to victory lane for his series-leading third win — something no other Stage winner has done. That’s what we call a spanking. (more…)

Just two points separate leader Brett Kressley from challenger Craig Von Dohren in the chase for the lucrative NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series T.P.Trailers Modified point title at Grandview Speedway. With the help of two wins Kressley has 1411 points while defending champion, 11 times in fact, Craig Von Dohren has 1409 counters and has done it without benefit of a win but has had consistent performances. BECHTELSVILLE, PA. May 9, 2021. Ma Nature smiled on Grandview Speedway Saturday night and allowed a Mom’s Night NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series tripleheader to be completed with Duane Howard battling with Jesse Leiby in the T.P. Trailers 358 NASCAR 30-lap Modified feature beginning on the 15th lap. The veteran campaigner tried to dive underneath the rookie and later attempted the outside trek, but each attempt failed. Finally on the 22nd lap, the six-time point champion got past Leiby and went on to take the win. (more…)
