2024 Detroit Supercross and the 2025 SMX World Championship Preview Show Bring Home Silver Awards in Television Directing and Sports Television Among Competitive Field of Entrants in the 46th Annual Telly Awards

ELLENTON, Fla., (May 21, 2025) – Feld Motor Sports, Inc. and the SMX World Championship broadcast team have won two Telly Awards in the 2025 iteration of the awards for Television and Sports content. Round 5 – 2024 SMX World Championship Series, Detroit and the 2025 SMX World Championship Season Preview Show both garnered Silver recognition in the 46th Annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies. Among the winners and competition this year were Pixar Animation Studios, Hearst Media, ESPN, LinkedIn, NATO, MTV Entertainment Studios, NASA, the LA Clippers (NBA) and more.

Rocco, Varricchio, Hovey, Clement, & Plemons Score May 16 Weekly Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted Weekly Racing on Friday, May 16th with SK Lights taking part in a special 30-lap extra distance feature. The night saw Keith Rocco win the 40-lap SK Modified® feature in a thrilling finish between himself, Jon Puleo, and Michael Christopher, Jr. that saw several lead changes and a 3-wide move in the final laps before Rocco came away with the checkered flag. Other winners on the night were Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Aaron Plemons in the Street Stock feature. Varricchio, Hovey, and Clement were all repeat winners from NAPA Spring Sizzler® Weekend.

YET AGAIN – RAIN IS THE WINNER SATURDAY NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – An absolutely beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the low 80’s, ended with a cold front and rain showers mid-evening, putting an early end to the scheduled NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series race events on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

Kaden Honeycutt dominated The Reverend Sour Mash Whiskey 75 zMAX CARS Tour Pro Late Model race Thursday night at North Wilkesboro Speedway after starting from the pole. The Bridge City, Texas, native claimed the checkered flag, holding off a hard-charging Dawson Sutton and Keelan Harvick, who finished second and third respectively.

Feature winners on the day were Jon Puleo in the SK Modified® feature, Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey and Brian Sullivan were the winners of the two 20-lap SK Light duels that will set the starting field for the SK Light 30-lap feature on the Friday, May 9 Weekly Racing card, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Bert Ouellette in the Street Stock feature.

SONOMA, Calif. (April 26, 2025) – Nitro Motorsports continued its amazing 2025 run in the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series, winning their third race in as many rounds. It was 2023 Champion Brent Crews in the No. 10 Mobil 1/Nitro Motorsports Toyota Camry who took the checkered flag at Sonoma Raceway, leading from start to finish while enduring multiple cautions and a wet finish.
