In 2024, Christopher won the race as an Open Modified 80 event and this season as an SK Modified® event. The victory is Christopher’s first of the 2025 season and extends his recent string of success in extra distance, big money events.

The Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division started Sunday’s show, returning to lap five of the previously rain-delayed HK Powersports feature race from back on May 17. It was no contest with freshman runner Lucas Sidney taking off under the green flag to capture his first career win at the Mountain with a hard-charging Owen Dupuis and Gracen Gorham rounding out the top three. The Kids returned later on for their regularly scheduled event under the direction of Clayton Houghton. Houghton led steadfast until his car got out from underneath him just after the halfway marker with Lucas Sidney going two for two in Kids Division wins, this time over Gorham and Kiptyn Aldrich.

Amy Holland Wins Second DIRT Big-Block Modified Feature at Brewerton Speedway

Back on July 28, 2023, Amy Holland became the first female driver to win a DIRT big-block modified feature race at the Brewerton Speedway.
Friday night, this Fulton racer did it again, winning the 35-lap, big-block feature using a small-block Chevrolet engine in her modified. Despite giving up over 100 cubic inches in engine displacement to her big-block competitors, Holland had her modified handling perfectly on the 3/8th-mile Brewerton oval.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted AZ Roofing Kids Night on Friday, May 30th, the first of three kids nights scheduled for the 2025 season. Keith Rocco was a SK Modified® winner for a second consecutive race, while Wayne Coury, Jr. won the Late Model feature, Chris Matthews won the SK Light feature, RJ Surdell won the Limited Late Model feature, and Bert Ouellette was a winner for the second time in 2025 in the Street Stock feature. There were two kids big wheel races with Memphis Genereux and Evan DaRos the winners.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted Weekly Racing on Friday, May 16th with SK Lights taking part in a special 30-lap extra distance feature. The night saw Keith Rocco win the 40-lap SK Modified® feature in a thrilling finish between himself, Jon Puleo, and Michael Christopher, Jr. that saw several lead changes and a 3-wide move in the final laps before Rocco came away with the checkered flag. Other winners on the night were Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Aaron Plemons in the Street Stock feature. Varricchio, Hovey, and Clement were all repeat winners from NAPA Spring Sizzler® Weekend.
