LE MANS, France (June 30, 2026) – The first overseas race in the nearly 50-year history of Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) is set for this weekend when the HSR NASCAR Classic presented by Goodyear racing series debuts at the Le Mans Classic Legend, July 3 – 5. A full field of historic stock cars from the last seven decades brings the “Thunder of America” back to the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe in the heart of France a half a century after NASCAR stock cars first appeared in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The 36-car entry list features a compelling mix of both iconic machinery and celebrated drivers, and among the standouts is 2026 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee and 2004 Cup Series champion Kurt Busch.
WATKINS GLEN, New York – Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Customer Racing team Winward Racing successfully renewed its 2026 championship campaign in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge series at Watkins Glen International with a victory in Saturday’s two-hour race on the 3.4-mile circuit with co-drivers Bryce Ward and Philip Ellis in the No. 57 Winward Racing Mercedes-AMG GT4. A fast-closing Ellis inherited the top spot with less than 20 minutes to go when the team that led the majority of the race slowed with a cut tire.

Gates will open Saturday at 3:00 PM with racing scheduled for 5:00 PM for the return of the fast Quarter Mile Divisions. At approx 7:00 PM the racing shifts to the ⅝ mile for a 35-lap feature event for the Street Stock Division and a 100-lap feature with the Pro Late Models. NORTH WILKESBORO, N.C. — Kaulig Racing and Ram announced today that 2008 Daytona 500 winner and 18-time NASCAR Cup Series victor Ryan Newman will drive the No. 25 Ram 1500 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at North Wilkesboro (N.C.) Speedway on Saturday, July 18.
Newman, nicknamed “Rocket Man,” drove Dodge machinery to 13 of his 18 career Cup wins and earned 43 of his 51 career Cup poles in Dodges. He adds star power to Ram’s rotating-driver Free Agent Program as the manufacturer returns to NASCAR competition after a 13-year absence.

Lee, NH — Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour heat winners Kaiden Fisher and Gabe Brown earned the front row of the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150 by each earning a +5 in qualifying action. After suffering with ignition issues all of Friday practice, Fisher made his presence known by leading the early circuits before Jimmy Renfrew Jr. got around him on the lap 7 restart. Renfrew kept pace ahead of the pack while the 32-car field spread out, easing the pressure on their Hoosier Racing Tires against the rough, aged surface of Lee USA Speedway.
