Flying Lizard Concludes Porsche Season with Four Championship Titles
SONOMA, Cali., (October 4, 2022) – The 2022 season for the Porsche Sprint Challenge North America by Yokohama concluded last weekend at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and professional sports car racing team Flying Lizard Motorsports finished the year proudly adding two more driver and two more team championship titles to the team’s illustrious resume. NTE/SSR Petit Le Mans Bid Ends with Pit Stop Purgatory
BRASELTON, Ga., (October 3, 2022) – NTE/SSR’s promising run at the 25th Annual Petit Le Mans ended on a disheartening note on Saturday evening, as the sports car racing team closed out the 2022 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The Lamborghini team showed strong potential all weekend long leading up to the season finale race, but in the end, a pitstop error from a neighboring team ended the effort’s hopes of a top-five or podium finish. Kyle Soper of Manorville collected his fourth NASCAR Modified championship over the past five years at Riverhead Raceway Saturday night when he won the 50-lap feature event for his 29th career win moving him to 11th on the all-time win list.
