STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 21, 2024 – NBC Sports, Peacock, and the SMX League announced today the 2025 SMX World Championship^TM broadcast and streaming schedule, including the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. 28 regular season races plus the postseason playoffs across the series, including exclusive live coverage of Main Event races, qualifiers, and heats, will be presented across NBC, Peacock, USA Network, and NBC Sports digital platforms.

Flying Lizard Motorsports Takes on World Finals in Spain

Alpine Endurance Team Ready to Conclude Its Learning Season With the Alpine A424 in Bahrain

The 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship season ends this week with the 8 Hours of Bahrain (30 October-2 November).
Alpine Endurance Team will conclude the learning campaign for its A424 Hypercar with reshuffled crews: Paul-Loup Chatin, Jules Gounon and Ferdinand Habsburg in the #35; Charles Milesi, Matthieu Vaxiviere and Mick Schumacher in the #36.
The A-arrow brand enters the final round in fourth place in the Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturers’ Championship.

Launched in February in Qatar, the 2024 FIA WEC season returns to the Middle East for the final round in the Kingdom of Bahrain. (more…)

CURRENT POINTS LEADER: The pressure was on David Gravel of Watertown, CT heading to Dirt Oval 66 after Carson Macedo took a chunk out of his lead the week before, and Gravel stepped up to the challenge. A runner-up on Friday before a third on Saturday allowed Gravel and the Big Game Motorsports team to pad their lead with five races to go in 2024.

Porsche Penske Motorsport Switches up Its Driver Squad for the 2025 Season

Julien Andlauer signs on as the new works driver in WEC
Andlauer/Christensen and Estre/Vanthoor contest the WEC
Campbell/Jaminet and Nasr/Tandy tackle IMSA

Porsche is tweaking its Porsche Penske Motorsport works team driver lineup for the 2025 season. In contrast to the 2024 season, now just two drivers will regularly contest the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Former Porsche Junior Julien Andlauer from France has been promoted to the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer’s works driver squad for next year. Three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer from Germany and four-time IMSA Champion Dane Cameron will leave the successful Porsche 963 programme after their contracts expire at the end of the year. Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki and Porsche Motorsport have agreed to conclude their collaboration after eleven years. (more…)

The Future Looks Bright for Super DIRT Week at Oswego

Brian Carter is the owner and CEO of the World Racing Group that just completed a successful Super DIRT Week 52 at the Oswego Speedway last week.

“It was by far our most successful Super DIRT Week in the nine years the event has been run at Oswego,” said Carter. “The racing was good, attendance was great, track conditions were smooth and fast and we had a record car count of 313.
