STAMFORD, Conn. – Nov. 21, 2024 – NBC Sports, Peacock, and the SMX League announced today the 2025 SMX World ChampionshipTM broadcast and streaming schedule, including the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. 28 regular season races plus the postseason playoffs across the series, including exclusive live coverage of Main Event races, qualifiers, and heats, will be presented across NBC, Peacock, USA Network, and NBC Sports digital platforms.

  • Two regular drivers pilot the works-Porsche 963 in IMSA and WEC
  • Julien Andlauer signs on as the new works driver in WEC
  • Andlauer/Christensen and Estre/Vanthoor contest the WEC
  • Campbell/Jaminet and Nasr/Tandy tackle IMSA

Porsche is tweaking its Porsche Penske Motorsport works team driver lineup for the 2025 season. In contrast to the 2024 season, now just two drivers will regularly contest the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC). Former Porsche Junior Julien Andlauer from France has been promoted to the Stuttgart sports car manufacturer’s works driver squad for next year. Three-time Le Mans winner André Lotterer from Germany and four-time IMSA Champion Dane Cameron will leave the successful Porsche 963 programme after their contracts expire at the end of the year. Frenchman Frédéric Makowiecki and Porsche Motorsport have agreed to conclude their collaboration after eleven years. (more…)

“It was by far our most successful Super DIRT Week in the nine years the event has been run at Oswego,” said Carter. “The racing was good, attendance was great, track conditions were smooth and fast and we had a record car count of 313.
