Outlaw Open Modified Dash for Cash Returns to Sunoco World Series Friday, October 11th

Naples, ME & Barre, VT — Back by popular demand, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today that the Outlaw Open Modified Series will make it’s grand return to Thompson Speedway as part of the Friday night opener to the 62nd Sunoco World Series on October 11th. The $5,000-to-win Dash for Cash will once again feature a $5,000 winner’s share with just a four-tire limit for their 50-lap sprint around the 0.625-mile oval!

With the addition of the Sunoco World Series Dash for Cash on Friday, all three days of the 62n Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing will feature Tour-type Modified competition. Following Friday’s 50-lap, $5,000-to-win sprint, Saturday includes the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series in their Constantine Paving & Sealing 75 before Sunday wraps up with the Sunoco World Series 150 presented by FloRacing for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour! ROSSBURG, Ohio (Sept. 5, 2024) – Eldora Speedway has hired championship-winning USAC driver and motorsports executive Levi Jones as general manager for the World’s Greatest Dirt Track.

The appointment serves as a homecoming for Jones, with the 42-year-old from Olney, Illinois, having raced for Eldora Speedway owner Tony Stewart in the United States Auto Club (USAC) from 2006 until the midpoint of 2013, winning six of his seven USAC championships with Tony Stewart Racing.

Esport entertainment company BLAST has announced a partnership with NASCAR to sponsor the FNCS Global Championship and Rocket League World Championship 2024, which are set to take place at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 7-8 and 10-15 respectively.

Both competitions will be held at Dickies Arena with more than $3 million in total combined prize pool on offer across both events. BIRMINGHAM, AL., (September 3, 2024) — Eight years have passed since SRO America last held an event at Barber Motorsports Park and this weekend, the Fanatec GT World Challenge America returns to Birmingham, Alabama for the penultimate event of the 2024 season. The competition will intensify at the picturesque circuit as Wright Motorsports aims to keep a tight grasp on the PRO-class championship point lead with the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R.

“It’s great to be returning back to Barber,” said Team Owner John Wright. “Not only is the facility beautiful, but it offers some great racing as well.
