(May 25, 2023) – NASCAR today announced that the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 27, will now start at noon ET – advancing one hour from the original 1 p.m. ET start time – due to the forecasted inclement weather. The broadcast networks for the Alsco Uniforms 300 remain unchanged – FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

NASCAR Xfinity Series News & Notes – Charlotte Motor Speedway
After a week off, the NASCAR Xfinity Series will be heading back to the high-speed action at Charlotte Motor Speedway at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, May 27 for the Alsco Uniforms 300 on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR radio. This weekend will be a special one, as NASCAR and Xfinity Series teams will honor the military and their families as they compete in the 12th race of the 2023 season.

William Byron won the Cup race with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT placed 15th, Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ended up 18th while Corey Lajoie finished 24th. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie who grew up in Norwalk, CT.

Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finished third with Boston’s Kaz Grala taking the 24th place. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ended his day in 37th. Alfredo also drives the second Xfinity entry for the Our Family.
