Brett Moffitt Earns Pole for Xfinity Race on Daytona Road Course

Brett Moffitt will lead the NASCAR Xfinity Series field to the green flag in Saturday’s (Feb. 20) event at the Daytona International Speedway road course.

Moffitt took the pole after finishing second in the season opener on the Daytona oval.

Last week’s victor Austin Cindric will start alongside Moffitt on the front row. Kaulig Racing’s Jeb Burton and Joe Gibbs Racing’s Harrison Burton will line up third and fourth, and Daniel Hemric rounds out the top five.

AJ Allmendinger begins in sixth and Brandon Brown starts seventh. Myatt Snider, Joe Graf Jr. and Matt Mills complete the top 10 in the lineup.

Owner’s points rankings, weighted 35%, as well as driver’s and owner’s results (50%) and fastest lap (15%) from Daytona were used to form the lineup.

The Super Start Batteries 188 will run Sat., Feb. 20 at 5 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1.
