ASA STARS National Tour Adds Slinger Speedway For 2025 Racing Season

Two years after the ASA STARS National Tour almost raced at Slinger Speedway, the super late model series will try again in 2025.

The popular quarter-mile north of Milwaukee will replace the Milwaukee Mile on the schedule on Father’s Day, but keep a Wisconsin weekend on the schedule with Slinger following a Friday night race at Madison International Speedway.

The 12-race schedule was announced Friday afternoon, hours after series promoter Bob Sargent confirmed the Slinger addition to the Journal Sentinel.

The ASA STARS National Tour initially had the Slinger Nationals on the schedule for its inaugural 2023 season. That date was scrapped, though, over an incompatibility in rules that would have handicapped some local and regional racers who are the backbone of the event that dates to 1980.
