ALTON, Va. (April 23, 2026) — VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) is gearing up for one of its biggest weekends of the year: Haltech HyperFest, returning May 15–17, 2026. HyperFest draws an energetic crowd to Southern Virginia, giving the whole weekend a lively atmosphere.
The numbers back it up. In 2025, HyperFest welcomed 23,000+ fans and 965 drivers across NASA Road Racing, NASA Rally, USDrift, HyperDrives and Trackcross, generating more than 7.5 million impressions across social and digital platforms. The event’s audience uniquely skews young and passionate.
“HyperFest just feels different,” said Connie Nyholm, co-owner and CEO of VIR. “It’s one of those weekends everyone looks forward to year after year. With something for just about everyone, the energy is hard to beat!”
With VIR’s unique combination of a world-class road course and resort-style camping infrastructure, HyperFest attendees arrive Friday, stay through Sunday, and fully immerse themselves in what organizers call an ’Automotive Amusement Park’. Fans get a nonstop mix of action across asphalt and dirt, plus two nights of music with Club Hyperfest, camping and the kind of weekend energy that doesn’t really believe in bedtime.
Tickets, camping options and full event information are available now at www.hyperfest.com. Media credentials and coverage inquiries are welcome in advance of the event. You can find images to download for publication here.
