Chevrolet Grand Prix • July 11-13, 2025 at CTMP
It’s race weekend at CTMP!! The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for exotic prototype and GT cars makes its only stop north of the border July 11-13 as part of the Chevrolet Grand Prix. Canada’s biggest sports car event features a world-class field of drivers racing iconic performance brands (including Corvette, Acura, Aston Martin, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lexus, McLaren, Mercedes-AMG, Mustang, and Porsche) on CTMP’s legendary Grand Prix circuit. In addition to the WeatherTech series (with LMP2 prototypes, GTD PRO and GTD classes), the Michelin Pilot Challenge, VP Racing Sportscar Challenge, and the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin fill out the three-day weekend of racing. Click HERE for tickets and info!

Formula One: Norris Wins Home British GP, Hulkenberg Podiums

Lando Norris won his home race, but the star of a rainy F1 British Grand Prix turned out to be Nico Hulkenberg, who dragged his Team Stake car onto the podium, finally achieving a top-three result in his 239th Formula One start. Jeff Pappone reports.

IndyCar: Dixon Capitalizes On Palou Mistake To Win At Mid-Ohio

Alex Palou dominated the NTT INDYCAR Series race at Mid-Ohio until Lap 85 of 90, when he made a very rare and uncharacteristic mistake. The Spaniard ran wide in Turn 9 and onto the grass, allowing his teammate, Scott Dixon, to pass for the win. Mary Bignotti Mendez reports.

Mat Williamson Dominates DIRTcar 358 Modified Series at Weedsport

After battling through difficult starting positions in the first four DIRTcar 358 Modified Series Features of the season, Mat Williamson took full advantage of a front-row start at Weedsport Speedway. The St. Catharines, ON native surged past Jordan McCreadie on the opening lap and never looked back, cruising to a commanding victory in the Speedweek Finale.

United Racing Series - APC Pro Late Model LRR 100FLAMBORO SPEEDWAY: This Saturday (July 12), Flamboro Speedway plays host to the United Late Model Series.

The headline event is the London Recreational Racing (LRR) 100 for the APC Pro Late Models. Also on the card are the United Racing Series Dayco Super Stocks and the Canadian Vintage Mods.

IMSA: Robert Wickens To Race Corvette At Home CTMP Event

Following his runner-up finish at the Nürburgring 24 Hours, Robert Wickens returns to his homeland to compete in the Chevrolet Grand Prix at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 11–13. Wickens will race the No. 36 Corvette Z06 GT3.R in the GTD class.

NASCAR Canada: Kennington Scores Dominating Victory At Riverside

D.J. Kennington, driver of the No. 17 Castrol EDGE Dodge, turned in a commanding performance in round two of the NASCAR Canada Series at Riverside International Speedway, scoring a memorable victory in the debut of a brand new race car.

OSCAAR: Cox (Modifieds) And Martin (Hot Rods) Win At Delaware

Both OSCAAR series were in action at Delaware Speedway on the Canada Day long weekend, where Jamie Cox (Modifieds) and Dalen Martin (Hot Rods) recorded victories.

NASCAR Canada SeriesThe NASCAR Canada Series is Canada’s national stock car championship. The series kicks off its annual swing through western Canada on Saturday, July 12 at Wetaskiwin, Alberta’s Edmonton International Raceway (EIR). Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs - Ontario RegionThe Canadian Automobile Sport Clubs – Ontario Region (CASC-OR) sanctions the RaceOntario Championships, a series or race events run from April through October at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport), Shannonville Motorsports Park, and Calabogie Motorsport Park. Brockville Ontario SpeedwayBROCKVILLE ONTARIO SPEEDWAY: This Saturday night (July 12) The BOS returns to action with a full card of racing. Headlining the event, the Ogilvie’s Triple Crown Series. The Modifieds will be on track for a 50-lap feature, while the Sportsman (40 laps), Novice Sportsman, Street Stocks and Surprenant Truck Shop Crate Sprints will also be in action at the eastern Ontario dirt oval. And on July 5 at The BOS, Lucas Fuller headed to Victory Lane for the first time (following a Feature) when he held off Johnathon Ferguson to take the 30-lap DIRTcar 358 Modified main. Click HERE for a full report from July 5.
