(Oct. 25, 2024) – As announced during Friday afternoon’s media availability session at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Justin Allgaier and cornerstone partner BRANDT Professional Agriculture are returning to JR Motorsports in a multi-year renewal that will run through the 2026 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. As the second-longest tenured-partner for JRM at ten years, BRANDT will assume the role of primary partner for Allgaier and the No.7 Chevrolet for 20 events during the 2025 and 2026 NXS seasons, as well as receive associate placement on the remaining races. (Nashville, TN) Officials from the ASA STARS National Tour along with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway have announced that $10,000 in bonus money has been added to the Super Late Model and Pro Late Model purses for the Curb Records/Big Machine Vodka Spiked Coolers All American 400 by US Tank weekend, thanks to a generous community and race supporter. The bonuses have been added in part to raise awareness of the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennessee.
$5,000 has now been added to the winner’s share of the ASA STARS National Tour event on Sunday, November 3, which will now pay $20,000 to the winner. $1,000 has been added to the winner’s share of the Saturday night JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model 100 and will now pay $6,000 to win. Just like last year, a season-long NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour points battle between Justin Bonsignore and Ron Silk comes down to the season finale at Martinsville Speedway.
What is different this time around is that Bonsignore holds the advantage going into the final race rather than Silk. A dominant day from Bonsignore at North Wilkesboro Speedway on Sunday allowed him to usurp Silk in the point standings and build a 10-point advantage with one event remaining. (more…)
Tony Stewart went to the Stewart-Haas Racing shop a couple of weeks ago and saw as many people as he could a month before the team shuts down.
“Knowing that when I left the building there, here’s some of those people I’ve known for 16 years, and I may never, ever see them again, unfortunately,” Stewart said on “Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour” podcast. “I don’t know that it’s even bittersweet.
