Wright Motorsports Welcomes Laurin Heinrich for Championship Showdown at Indianapolis 8 Hour

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (September 27, 2024) – Last weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Wright Motorsports celebrated an impressive win in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship’s Battle on the Bricks, the first Indianapolis-based endurance race for the series. This weekend, drivers Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer prepare to conclude the fight for the Fanatec GT World Challenge championship title, with Laurin Heinrich joining them in the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R for the Indianapolis 8 Hour. The former Porsche Junior Heinrich also brought home an Indy victory on September 22 driving another Porsche 911 GT3 R in the GTD PRO class. (more…)

Nick Yelloly Joins Flying Lizard Motorsport for Indianapolis 8 Hour

PHOENIZ, Ariz., (September 28, 2024) – The season finale for the Fanatec GT World Challenge America concludes next week at Indianapolis Motor Speedway with an eight-hour endurance racing event, and BMW works driver Nick Yelloly will join full-season drivers Elias Sabo and Andy Lee in the No. 8 Flying Lizard Motorsports BMW M4 GT3.

“We are very pleased to have Nick joining us for the Indianapolis 8 Hour event,” said Program Manager Darren Law. “BMW has been very supportive of us with this mid-season move to the M4 GT3 and to have a driver of Nick’s caliber and his knowledge of the car will be extremely helpful for us.
