Saturday’s SpeedFest 2022 at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, GA, will feature Modifieds for the first time as a combination event between the Midwest Modifieds Tour and the Modifieds of Mayhem. Kaz Grala to Join Alpha Prime Racing in 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season
CHARLOTTE, NC (January 24, 2022) Alpha Prime Racing announced that Kaz Grala will join the organization’s NASCAR Xfinity Series driver lineup for select starts in 2022 as the team competes with two full-time entries.
American Sign, Inc. Joins Stafford Speedway Contingency Program
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After a 2021 season that paid out over $100,000 contingency bonuses to drivers, Stafford Speedway’s Contingency Program will welcome American Sign, Inc. of New Haven, CT as a new contingency sponsor for the 2022 season. American Sign will contribute weekly bonuses of $75 to each Street Stock feature winner as well as $75 to each third place SK Light finisher. American Sign will contribute a total of $3,300 during the 2022 season with $1,650 each going to SK Light and Street Stock drivers.
Rum Town-Legion Speedway Under New Ownership
Wentworth, NH: The 1/4-mile dirt track located in Wentworth, NH. has changed hands and is now under new ownership starting with the 2022 race season. Ron Giroux, current Sprint Cars of New England Series Director along with Bill Dawley, have taken over control of the speedway under the newly formed R&B Motorsports.
Champions Crowned at Devil’s Bowl Speedway Banquet
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway officially put a wrap on the 2021 stock car racing season, hosting the annual Banquet of Champions on Saturday, January 22. Drivers and teams from Vermont, New York, and New Hampshire traveled to a beautiful new location at the Holiday Inn-Saratoga Springs in the historic New York town to collect championship laurels, special awards, and nearly $25,000 in total point fund prize money. Ambetter Named Entitlement Partner for 2022 NASCAR Cup Series Race at New Hampshire
Ambetter, America’s number one Marketplace Health Insurer, has extended its partnership with New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) to become the entitlement sponsor for New England’s only NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race. The Ambetter 301 will take place at 3 p.m. on July 17 as part of the speedway’s traditional mid-summer NASCAR weekend. (more…)
