Over 60 Cars Turn Laps in Lincoln Speedway Fall Nationals Practice
Friday Racing Action Set to Begin at 6 PM
(Lincoln, IL) — More than 60 competitors took to the ¼-mile dirt oval Thursday night for open practice, kicking off the 2025 DIRTcar Fall Nationals weekend at Lincoln Speedway. Perfect weather and a smooth, fast racetrack greeted teams as they tuned up for two big nights of racing action.

Champions, Campers, and the Best of the Midwest Set to Converge for Season Finale
LINCOLN, IL – The wait is over — it’s officially DIRTcar Fall Nationals week at Lincoln Speedway, where well over 100 of the best drivers from across the Midwest will close out the 2025 racing season in grand fashion. The three-day event runs Thursday through Saturday, October 16–18, featuring open practice on Thursday night and two full nights of national championship racing on Friday and Saturday.
Thompson, CT — Joshua Gerard and Shane Gendron brought the R&R Open Street Stock Series to green to kick off Friday’s racing action. Gendron shot off like a rocket with Austin Erickson in hot persuit as Ryan Lineham made short work of his march to third by lap ten. While Lineham continued his run to take the lead on lap fourteen, Erickson and Andrew Gillis got physical for third-place before the field strung out in between several caution periods. Ryan Lineham finally took the long-winded win over Jason Woodard and Austin Erickson.
Over 40 drivers have entered the PASS 400, a race with a tradition dating back to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, but with a huge difference for this year’s race. The race will total 400 laps, split into three segments at 100, 100, and 200 laps respectively, each paying $25,000 to win, with the overall winner collecting an additional $25,000 for having the lowest average finish from each of the three segments. The crown jewel event, sanctioned by the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, will once again feature some of short track racing’s biggest names, rising stars, and national champions all chasing one of the most coveted victories in asphalt short track racing.
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted its final Friday night race program of the 2025 season with NAPA Auto Parts Championship Night on October 3. Feature wins were notched by Michael Christopher, Jr. in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Travis Hydar in the Limited Late Model feature, and Jason Raymond in the Street Stock feature. Track champions for the 2025 season are Jon Puleo in the SK Modified® division, Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model division, Meghan Fuller in the SK Light division, Travis Hydar in the Limited Late Model division, and Travis Downey in the Street Stock division.
Barre, VT – A beautiful, summer-like day greeted the fans and teams of Thunder Road Speedbowl to set the scene for a history-making Vermont Milk Bowl. Three segments of racing awaited the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour / Maplefields-Irving Late Models Sunday morning with Marcel Gravel pacing the pack early in Segment #1. It started with a bang on lap one, in turn one as Brandon Gray, Bryan Wall Jr. and Erick Sands saw their days end early in a crashing of steel and concrete. Gravel set the pace but fell under attack from current Touring point leader Raphael Lessard at lap 10. Gravel regained the high ground on lap 19 and kept the hammer down for the Segment #1 win.
