Final group of 10 drivers released to commemorate 40^thanniversary of the modern era of the Whelen Modified Tour

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 13, 2025) – Throughout the season, NASCAR has been celebrating the 40^th anniversary of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour modern era, beginning with the 1985 season, by releasing the list of the 40 greatest drivers in the series without ranking. Ten were added to the list during each announcement, culminating in today’s final grouping of drivers released leading into Thursday night’s Virginia is for Racing Lovers 150 at Richmond Raceway (7:30 p.m. ET).

Thompson, CT — An incredible flood of fans entered Thompson Speedway on Wednesday night for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s annual midweek Thompson 150 with plenty of magic in the air. Along with a much anticipated visit from Geoff Bodine and the original Big Red Machine #1 from his stellar 1978 campaign, the NASCAR touring teams battled in the Tour’s 750th event back where it all began in 1985.

Four-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore continues his 2025 NASCAR Xfinity Series slate with Joe Gibbs Racing this weekend.

Bonsignore will drive the No. 19 USNEPower Toyota GR Supra at Iowa Speedway on Saturday. It will mark Bonsignore’s seventh career NASCAR Xfinity Series start and sixth of the season. Following Iowa, he will compete in three more events at Kansas Speedway, Martinsville Speedway and Phoenix Raceway to wrap the ‘25 campaign with JGR.

Justin Bonsignore Set For Doubleheader Weekend at Monadnock Speedway

A busy weekend is ahead for Justin Bonsignore and the Ken Massa Motorsports team at Monadnock Speedway. Bonsignore and the No. 51 Phoenix Communications team will compete in two NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour races in two days at Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire.

The first is the Duel at the Dog 200 on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Cheshire County Clash 200 on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. Both events will be live on FloRacing.TV.

GSPSS Returns To “Mad Dog” For Keen Parts 100 Saturday
