Hudson, NH- While the racing season isn’t over yet the points racing season ended this past Sunday on a beautiful fall New England day. While Tyler Leary entered the day with the MacMulkin Chevrolet Sportsman Modified Championship all wrapped up, the same couldn’t be said for the rest of the divisions. Justin Beecher entered the day with a 26-point lead in the Northeast Auto Imports Super Streets; while Callie Osborne had a 10-point lead in the RaceDayTV Ridge Runners, Steve Miller Sr. was 18 points up in the Granite State Indoor Range Six Shooters points standings, and Carlos Grenier had the smallest points lead in the MLM Diagnostic Services Pure Stocks with a 2 point advantage.

Week twenty-one New England Dirt Track Championships feature winners of the 57th consecutive season sponsored by General Auto Salvage were Jason Gray in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds; Jason Gray in the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes; Xtreme DIRTcar DMA Midgets overall Brandon Piastka, Dana Carter in the LaValley Building Supply Dirt Stocks, and Kevin LaForest in the Woodsville Power Equipment Ridge Runners.
D.A.V. Championship Weekend To Crown 2024 Seekonk Speedway Champions September 27-28
| Pro Stock Final Four: Dylan Estrella, Bobby Pelland III, Vinnie Arrenegado, Mike Brightman With 11 playoff points after the first two weeks, Dylan Estrella leads the Pro Stock Final Four. The Everett’s Auto Parts Racing driver of the No. 46 stormed to the front of the pack often throughout the season, visiting Victory Lane multiple times and always being a threat for the podium. Bobby Pelland III is another former Late Model champion looking to add a Pro Stock title to his resume. Pelland has multiple victories this season and always finds himself around the podium at the end of the night. After making the Final Four last year and coming up just short, Pelland looks to rebound and seal the deal this year. Vinnie Arrenegado is one driver who has put together a season filled with second-place finishes. To be exact, Arrenegado finished second SEVEN times. He will lock up the Rookie of the Year award in the Pro Stocks, but the former Late Model champion wants Pro Stock title gold. And no one can count out Mike Brightman either. Another Final Four run for him will come down to the wire, with Brightman also looking to add to a previous Late Model Seekonk title. Brightman ended the regular season with his first victory of the season and seems ready to chase the crown. The Pro Stock championship event is 50 laps. |
Morin Wins Super Streets Six Pack Series, Leary Tops the Sportsman Modifieds
Hudson, NH- Another beautiful day for racing graced the High Banks of Hudson Speedway for the 2nd to last points event of the season. While many drivers hoped to add to their points lead on the day or maybe even mathematically lock up their championship a week early while fans were treated to an action-packed day of racing. Tyler Leary, Andrew Morin, Steve Miller Sr., Brian Caswell, Mikayla Duval, and Andrew Harmon took home the winner’s hardware in their respective divisions.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The 62nd anniversary season of auto racing action at Grandview Speedway moves into the 54th annual Freedom 76 race weekend, the biggest, most prestigious, and most lucrative racing of the year for competitors.
The Freedom 76 weekend begins this Friday, September 20 with the 11th annual Freedom 38 Sportsman Championship race, along with qualifying events, plus practice time for Modified drivers wishing to participate in the Freedom 76.
Friday’s program will be known as Fans for Five Friday as the grandstand admission is just $5, while children ages 9 and under will be free of charge. Pit admission on Friday is $40, and no license is required. (more…)
Seekonk Championship Final Four Fields To Be Set, Wall Of Fame Inductions Help Headline Racing Weekend
As Seekonk Speedway hits the final two weekends of the short-track racing season for Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday, September 20-21 will determine the Final Four who will compete for the title in each division. As the Sunoco Drive For The Cup revs up, after feature event racing on both nights, four drivers will have the right to contend for the title, while two in each division will go home hoping for another shot next year. Mid-Afternoon Rain Causes Race Cancelation Saturday Night For Grandview Speedway, Spunktown Tavern & Restaurant Championship Night Determines Point Titles Next Saturday September 14
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following significant rainfall during a line of storms mid-afternoon, and with more rain showers on the radar screen to follow for the next several hours leading up to race time Saturday evening, track management had to once again cancel the planned race events for this week at Grandview Speedway.
The mid and late day precipitation left the speedway facility very wet, and with no drying weather expected right after the rain moved through, it would not have allowed the track crew a chance to be able to prepare the track in a timely manner for the evening’s race program. (more…)

This Saturday, August 31 will feature the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman in another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program starting at 7:30 pm.
