EDDIE STRADA AND JOE TOTH CONTINUE TO LEAD TRACK POINT STANDINGS
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following a successful 64th anniversary celebration last Saturday night, Grandview Speedway returns with a special Back to the 90’s night this weekend!
This Saturday’s program will feature the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment NASCAR Modifieds and Sportsman along with the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars in a NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts event, plus a LDE Backpack giveaway and a Kid’s Money Scramble on Back to the 90’s Night with just $10 grandstand admission!
The show on Saturday, August 15, sponsored by T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment, will include qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman, along with a 15-lap main event for the Vintage cars who will be participating in the Dave Smith Memorial.
In addition to the exciting racing action, Low-Down Entertainment, who host the weekly Meet & Greets prior to each race night, will be having a Back-to-School backpack giveaway prior to the races during the Meet & Greet where over 150 backpacks will be handed out!
The Kid’s Money Scramble will see the younger fans divided up into different age groups, then coins will be scattered on the front stretch of the racetrack. The youngsters will be given a set amount of time to scoop up as many coins as possible, filling their containers or pockets!
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Grandstand admission is $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
For the 14th year in a row, T.P. Trailers and Truck Equipment has been sponsoring the Modified & Sportsman divisions at Grandview Speedway, and each Saturday during the season bonus money is paid to the feature winners, with the T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature winner getting a $300 bonus, while the T.P. Trailers and Truck Equipment Sportsman feature winner receives a $200 bonus, providing each feature winner has a T.P. decal displayed on each side of the car.

This past Saturday night Brett Kressley picked up a huge win in the 50-lap T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Modified feature, winning the 56th annual Forrest Rogers Memorial for the third time in his career, and moving him further up the points ladder, now sitting eighth in the current standings.
Point leader Eddie Strada scored a seventh-place feature run to remain in the top spot, while Jeff Strunk picked up a tenth-place feature finish to remain second in points, with Logan Watt scoring a ninth-place feature finish to remain third in the current point standings.
Louden Reimert ended his night with a solid fifth place feature finish and sits fourth in points, while Rick Laubach had a fine feature run, picking up second spot on the final lap and now sits fifth in the current standings.

The T.P. Trailers & Truck Equipment Sportsman had a wildly exciting main event with Johnny Fugelo winning out on a late race battle with Dakota Kohler to score his second win of the season.
Joe Toth maintained the point lead with a sixth-place feature run, while Colin Cox scored a ninth-place feature result to remain second in points, with Addison Meitzler rallying from a last place starting spot to a fourteenth-place finish to remain third in the current point standings.
Jesse Landis missed a top ten run but remains fourth in points, while Teague Miller scored a seventh-place feature finish and now sits fifth in points.
