Brett Gilmore Takes Grandview Speedway Sportsman Win In Another Action-Packed Saturday Night Of Racing

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It was another story of years of work and effort finally paying off, as Justin Grim of Orefield, Pa. was able to reach victory Lane for the first time in his career with a win in the 30-lap T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified feature on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

Brett Gilmore of Kutztown, Pa., who has been very fast in recent weeks but has not had any good racing luck, put everything together to out duel Alex Bartorillo of Limerick, Pa. to score the victory in the evening’s 25-lap T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman feature event.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – There will be two days of racing action plus the younger fans will be in the spotlight on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

The weekend will see two shows beginning on Friday, August 1 featuring the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage Cars in action along with the Xcel 600 Modifieds starting at 7 pm.

On Friday night pit gates open at 2 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm. Grandstand admission will be $10, with children ages 12 and under admitted for free. Pit admission is $35 for the Friday event.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It was yet another night of first time happenings on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.

Jeff Strunk of Boyertown, Pa. secured the lead on lap ten after a brief three driver battle for the top spot between himself, Ron Haring Jr. of Alburtis, Pa. and Jon Kellner of Lansdale, Pa., then raced home to the win in the 30-lap T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified feature event becoming the first repeat feature winner of the season.

Logan Watt of Boyertown, Pa., who is the two-time defending T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Track Champion at the Speedway, outdueled Ray Swinehart of Perkiomenville, Pa., taking the lead with just nine laps to go, to score his first career T.P. Trailer Modified division victory on Saturday night, in a racing program sponsored by Macmillan Oil Company of Allentown.
