BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Wingless Sprint cars from the USAC East Coast Series will join the weekly stock car action this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway.
Grandview Speedway will be presenting another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program this Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds, the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, and the only visit of the season by the USAC East Coast Sprint Cars.
The show on Saturday, September 6 will be sponsored by Advance Auto Parts, the title sponsor of NASCAR’s Weekly Series, and will include qualifying events for all classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and a 25-lap main event for the USAC East Coast Sprint cars.
Also this Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted by Brittany Huber. The drivers scheduled to participate this week include Ryan & Logan Watt, Ed Aiken and Ron Helmick.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area starting at 4:30 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.
Track management is reminding everyone that for the Saturday night races in the month of September, the starting times will move up one half hour.
Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5 pm, Sprint car engine starts at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:45 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $25, students 10-15 with ID are $15, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
The USAC East Coast Sprints are set for their fifth ever visit to Grandview Speedway this Saturday night, with multi-time series Champion Steven Drevicki currently leading the 2025 points parade over Ed Aiken, Bobby Butler, Kenny Miller III, and Ronald Helmick.
Feature winners on the tour this season include Drevicki with three, Miller III with two, and one time winners Butler, Christian Bruno, Briggs Danner, and Joey Amantea.
Previous event winners for USAC East Coast at Grandview were current Modified driver Tim Buckwalter (2019), no race due to covid (2020), Briggs Danner (2021 & 2024), rain (2022), and Steven Drevicki (2023).
Competition has been fierce this season in the T.P. Trailer Modified division, as thirteen different drivers have shared the wealth, with a trip to victory lane. The recent trend has seen different drivers visiting victory lane, as only Jeff Strunk and Logan Watt have been able to become two-time feature winners in a highly competitive 2025 season.
There have been different trends with the winning drivers as Brian HIrthler, Brett Kressley, John Willman, and Ryan Watt, added to their recent win totals, while Chris Esposito, Duane Howard, Jon Kellner, Tim Buckwalter, and Jared Umbenhauer ended extended dry spells, with Justin Grim, and last week’s winner Eddie Strada becoming first time career Grandview winners with their feature wins.
Two weeks remain in the chase for the T.P. Trailer Modified point championship, with positions swapping each week. Duane Howard sits in position number one entering this Saturday’s event leading by 160 markers over Mike Gular and 180 over Louden Reimert.
The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman have also been highly competitive, with eleven different drivers reaching victory lane during the 2025 season, with four drivers scoring a second win including point leader Colin Cox, Jesse Landis, Addison Meitzler, and last week’s winner Joey Vaccaro, with Cox and Vaccaro grabbing a first time career win on their first victory.
One time winners include Ryan Graver, Brett Gilmore, Kenny Gilmore, Parker Guldin, and Dylan Swinehart who all added to their win totals, while Lawson Szerencits, and Shannon Slaughter picked up their first career feature wins.
The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman point race sees Colin Cox with an insurmountable point lead of 874 points over Mike Schneck Jr. who continues to sit second in points entering action this Saturday night.
These drivers plus three dozen plus in each division will be battling for the feature win again this Saturday night!
The final night of points racing and the crowning of the 2025 track champions will occur on Championship Night on Saturday, September 13, in a race program featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman joined by the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars starting at 7 pm.
