With big race events happening this past weekend across the state, Wiscasset Speedway was still able to draw in a large crowd of both fans and drivers on Saturday for another action-packed Group 1 race program.
Holland, N.Y. – (August 25, 2025) – George Skora, III of Eden, NY started 12th and steadily worked his way through the field to capture the victory in the 24th annual George Decker Memorial at Holland (NY) Speedway this past Saturday.
Lancaster, N.Y. – (August 17, 2025) – Matt Hirschman of Northampton, PA, used a timely and efficient pit stop to gain track position and claim victory in the 36th annual Tribute to Tommy Druar and Tony Jankowiak 110 at Lancaster Motorplex (NY) this past Saturday night.

Speedway on Saturday, August 23. This marquee event will close out the 2025 stock car racing season at Holland.
Wiscasset Speedway opened up their action-packed weekend on Saturday with a loaded 8-race schedule that included all weekly Group 1 divisions in addition to the visiting Senior Tour Auto Racers and the lightning-fast 350SMAC Tour.
Claremont, NH – This Wednesday night, August 13th, Claremont Motorsports Park roars back to life with the return of Wicked Wednesday, a midweek night of high-speed, edge-of-your-seat racing action.
Williamson, N.Y. – (August 7, 2025) – Spencer Speedway in Williamson, N.Y. continues its packed month of August with “Free Apple Friday” as part of Harvest Fest on Friday, August 15. In collaboration with the Williamson Apple Blossom Festival and local farmers, fans will receive free apples at the gate as part of the seasonal celebration.
Monster Energy will also be on hand with a display and product giveaways for attendees, and has confirmed they’ll return for more fun on Friday, August 29.

“Fan Appreciation” Highlights Full Card of Race of Champions Action Friday, August 1 At Spencer Speedway
Williamson, N.Y. – (August 1, 2025) – Spencer Speedway will roar back to life this Friday, August 1, as the historic Route 104 oval continues to celebrate its 70th anniversary season with a night packed full of racing, fun, and fan engagement.
The evening will feature a full card of Race of Champions Family of Series action headlined by the Race of Champions Sportsman Modified Series. Fans of all ages will enjoy the return of the Race of Champions Super Stock Series, Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series, and the always exciting Wilbert’s U-Pull It Four Cylinder and Super Six Divisions.
While heavy fog rolled into Coastal Maine on Saturday afternoon, Wiscasset Speedway was able to keep the action rolling along and successfully beat Mother Nature’s time clock, hosting a full Group 1 racing program.
The Davis Erector Group 207 Crate Modifieds were the spotlight division of the night with two feature races. Bubba Pelton took off with the early lead in the first race and held off a hard-charging John Ricci as the laps wound down, scoring the victory. Ryan Phillips held the upper hand in the second feature, but Pelton pulled to his door on lap 10, challenging for the top spot. Pelton completed the pass on lap 17 and never looked back, sweeping the division.
