Nik Welshans and Trisha Connolly Also Claim Holland Speedway Feature Victories on Action-Packed Saturday Night
Holland, N.Y. – (July 27, 2025) – Patrick Emerling of Orchard Park, N.Y., captured a hard-fought and emotional victory in the Transitowne 100 on Saturday night at his home track, Holland Speedway, with the Race of Champions Modified Series.
Emerling battled throughout the race with Jake Lutz of Hamburg, N.Y., eventually taking the lead and holding off Lutz in a thrilling run to the checkered flag. The win marked the 25th career Race of Champions Series victory for the Western New York native.

One driver looking forward to the race is Rich Hammann. ANDERSON, Ind: Rette Jones Racing confirmed today that Late Model and ARCA Menards Series standout Kole Raz will pilot a second entry in Saturday night’s Red Bud 400 at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway, marking the team’s first multi-car effort in ASA STARS National Tour competition.
Raz, 22, will drive with support from Port City Racecars, a Jones Company, as he joins full-time Rette Jones Racing driver Kyle Steckly, who will continue to wheel the No. 30 Auto Parts Centres Ford Mustang.
