BRASELTON, Georgia (September 26, 2023) – From Road America to Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta to this weekend’s Rennsport Reunion 7, Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) is full-speed ahead in a three-week and coast-to-coast race stretch that is one of busiest runs of consecutive races in the sanctioning body’s nearly 50-year history. The latest event in the triple stretch of races was last weekend’s HSR Fall Historics at Road Atlanta that wrapped up Sunday after three days of successful competition in perfect weather conditions. William Byron Wins Wild Race at Atlanta

William Byron won the rain-shortened Atlanta race for his series leading fourth win of the year. Byron was leading the field when the caution for rain flew and with the race past the halfway point, it was a legit finish when the rain made its way to the track.

NASCAR Cup Round 2: Atlanta Motor Speedway Will Be ‘Under the Lights’

This Sunday, the NASCAR Cup Series will be returning to Atlanta Motor Speedway for the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart (July 9 at 7 p.m. ET on USA, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio), and this go-around the competitors will have to navigate the high-speed, door-to-door action for the first time ‘under the lights’ since the 1.54-mile track was recently reconfigured by narrowing the racing surface and raising the degree of banking in the Turns to 28 degrees.

Victory for Silver Hare Racing at Road Atlanta

Hometown Boy Austin Hill Wins NASCAR Xfinity Series Race Again at Atlanta

Richard Childress Racing’s Austin Hill has proven that he is the one to beat, having already snagged three wins in the first five races of the season. The last time a driver won three of the first five races in the NASCAR Xfinity Series was in 2016 with Kyle Busch.

The Winston, Georgia native, Hill, raced his way to the checkered flag from the third starting position. He led three times for a race-high 103 of 163 laps. This was his second win at Atlanta Motor Speedway, his home track.

Corey LaJoie Delivers Career-Best Cup Effort at Atlanta Motor Speedway

HAMPTON, Ga.: Corey LaJoie returned to Atlanta (Ga.) Motor Speedway looking to finish what he started last July in Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400, and while the opportunity to score his first career NASCAR Cup Series win never materialized in the closing laps of the race, the Spire Motorsports driver did deliver a strong fourth-place finish.
