John Hunter Nemechek won the Xfinity race at Atlanta with Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT finished eighth, Boston’s Kaz Grala came in 14th David Starr placed 22nd, Kyle Weatherman was 31st, Blair Perkins ended up 32nd while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT was 34th. In the Cup race at Atlanta James Byron was the winner, Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came in 17th, Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT was 24th while Corey LaJoie placed 31st. Lajoie is the son of Randy LaJoie, a two- time Xfinity Champion who is a native of Norwalk, CT.
