Iconic Racing Secures HSR Daytona Classic 24 Run Groups A, D and F “Triple Sweep” with Victories with the Team’s 1969 Lola T70 Mk III, 2000 Dodge Viper GTS-R and 2019 Cadillac DPi

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (November 9, 2025) – The inaugural season of the HSR Classic Endurance Championship presented by Mission Foods came to a colorful and competitive conclusion Saturday and Sunday at Daytona International Speedway (DIS) with the successful 11th running of the HSR Daytona Classic 24 Hour presented by Mission Foods. Five full days of on-track action culminated with the HSR Daytona Classic 24-hour twice-around-the-clock race from Saturday at 2 p.m. until just before the same hour Sunday.

HSR Welcomes Ford as the 2026 Featured Marque of the HSR Daytona Classic 24 Hour presented by Mission Foods

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (November 6, 2025) – Officials from Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) and Ford Racing announced today that Ford will be the Featured Marque of the 12th running of the HSR Daytona Classic 24 Hour presented by Mission Foods at Daytona International Speedway (DIS), November 11 – 15, 2026.

The first HSR Classic event, which debuted at the World Center of Racing in 2014, the HSR Daytona Classic 24 Hour is an annual tribute race to the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Ford has taken home 20 first-place trophies from the Rolex 24, including its first 24-hour victory in 1966 by Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby in a Ford GT 40 Mk II in the first Daytona race to officially run the 24-hour distance.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Anticipation and excitement are already building for the 2026 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship leading into the final sanctioned on-track activity of 2025. The three-day IMSA-sanctioned test at Daytona International Speedway from November 14 through 16 will give a first glimpse at the 2026 WeatherTech Championship field.

How Did Northeast Drivers Do Down South At Daytona?

Ryan Blaney won the Cup race at Daytona. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 14th. Not so lucky was Joey Logano of Middletown, CT, who ended his day in 27^th place.

Conner Zilisch won the Xfinity race by virtue of Parker Kligerman from Weston CT stepping into the seat after Zilisch’s injury. Patrick Emerling of LI, NY placed 13th while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT had a bad day and ended up 37th.

In Indycar, at the Milwaukee Mile, Christian Rassmussen was the winner while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT ended his day 14^th place in the A. J. Foyt entry.

Connor Zilisch to Drive Trackhouse Chevy in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series

DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – Connor Zilisch, one of the hottest prospects in NASCAR history, will race a Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet full-time in the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series.

The 19-year-old Zilisch and Trackhouse Racing founder and owner Justin Marks announced Saturday at Daytona International Speedway that they’ve reached a multiyear agreement for Zilisch to drive for the three-car team that has already won five Cup Series races this season with drivers Ross Chastain and Shane van Gisbergen.
