WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Zach Sobotka was already having a dream weekend when he arrived at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on the morning of Sunday, September 5, and he headed home with an even bigger highlight and a huge paycheck. The 26-year-old opened his Labor Day holiday weekend by winning at Brewerton (N.Y.) Speedway and clinching that track’s Sportsman Modified championship on Friday night, and he wrapped it up by capturing the Fabian Earth Moving Vermont 200 and pocketing $12,942 in winnings on Sunday. WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Jimmy Ryan had gone two years without winning a Sportsman Modified race at Devil’s Bowl Speedway until he scored on July 31. The next win took just four weeks, but that’s only part of the story. Palmer, Hoard Top Double Feature Night at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The hot and humid weather turned into a hot night of dirt track racing action at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 21 as new sponsor 2nd Amendment Shooting Supplies of Brandon, Vt., presented the event. Reckner Leads Parade of Underdogs to Open Big Weekend at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Elmo Reckner won big on an exciting night of dirt track racing at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, August 14, winning the Rutland Regional Medical Center “Healthcare Heroes Night” feature for the headline Sportsman Modified division. Other winners on the night included John Gosselin, Chris Murray, rookie Daryl Gebo, and Kamden Duffy. The third annual “Battle at the Bowl” Dirt Modified event was postponed a week by rain to Sunday, August 15 at 5:00 p.m., but a little wet weather certainly did not dampen the spirit of the event.
