Tripleheader Weekend On Tap At Seekonk Speedway

SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway is set for a massive tripleheader weekend June 13-14-15 – as Fast Friday, NASCAR Saturday and a special Father’s Day Monster Truck Bash will make up a full weekend of excitement at the Action Track of the East.

Fast Friday begins at 7 p.m., while NASCAR Saturday goes green at 6 p.m. The Father’s Day special Monster Truck show drops the green flag on Sunday at 2 p.m.

SEEKONK, Mass. — The second doubleheader weekend of the year is upon us at Seekonk Speedway.

Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday both return to the track this week, with Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series action headlining both nights, and the East Coast Towing & Recovery Spectator Drags also joining the action on NASCAR Saturday.

NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Race at Seekonk Speedway Postponed to Sunday Due to Weather

J&R Precast 150 Moved to Sunday, June 1, at 3 p.m. ET

SEEKONK, Mass. — Due to forecasted inclement weather, Seekonk Speedway and NASCAR officials announced today that the J&R Precast 150 & NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series divisions will now race on Sunday, June 1 at 3 p.m.

The event will begin with NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour qualifying at 2:30 p.m., followed by qualifying heats for the Seekonk Late Models, Helger’s Sportsman and Sport Trucks.

More than a year has passed since Jake Johnson brought Ole Blue back to Victory Lane on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, a win that arrived at Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire.

A lot has changed for Johnson since that day, but his commitment to winning in Modifieds remains unwavering. Now part-time in the series with JMA Motorsports, Johnson is set to make his second Modified Tour appearance with the program in Saturday’s J&R Precast 150 at Massachussets’ Seekonk Speedway.

Justin Bonsignore Set For Return to Seekonk Speedway

The Action Track of the East will host the fourth race of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season this Saturday, May 31. The series returns to Seekonk Speedway for the J&R Precast 150 – under the lights in Massachusetts.

Justin Bonsignore heads back to Seekonk looking to visit Victory Lane at the third-mile for the first time since 2018. That season, Bonsignore won at Seekonk en route to his first series championship. In six career Seekonk Whelen Modified Tour starts, Bonsignore has finished sixth or better in all of them, including three podium runs.

Open to the public since 1946, the Venditti family have overseen a proud, vibrant racing culture at Seekonk that includes Modified competition. The list of names who have won a weekly Modified Seekonk includes many of the discipline’s greatest drivers like Bugsy Stevens, Ron Bouchard and Geoff Bodine, among others.

Barre, VT — Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials released today five entry forms covering events from the June 21 visit to Autodrome Chaudiere to the 8th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 at White Mountain Motorsports Park on August 2. Those five events combine for a grand total of $222,460 in posted awards for the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour teams during a busy summer stretch for the iconic Tour.
