Domination Leads to Victory For Martin Truex Jr. At Sonoma

Aric Almirola won the Xfinity race while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT came in fifth with Boston’s Kaz Grala placing 20^th while Kyle Weatherson was 22^nd.Blair Perkins finished 30th with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT placing 37th, Weatherson and Perkins both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who call Harwich, MA home.

Busch’s bid for a third title seems more and more likely

For the first time since 2010-2011, the Richard Childress Racing organization has put up back-to-back seasons (2022-2023) of at least three NASCAR Cup Series wins. Over the last two years, the one common denominator in the RCR Victory Lane celebrations has been crew chief Randall Burnett, who has led Tyler Reddick to three wins in 2022, and now has led veteran Kyle Busch to three wins this season.

Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer lands his first road course win

JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier appeared to have the race at Portland International Raceway in the bag last weekend, which would’ve made him the first back-to-back winner of the 2023 season. But he got knocked out in Turn 1, ultimately giving Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer a straight shot to Victory Lane.

Wright Motorsports Revels in Victory at Sonoma Raceway Season Opener

The Porsche customer team celebrated multiple visits to the podium including a win in the headlining series, the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS. Team veterans Charlie Luck and Jan Heylen concluded the weekend with two top-five finishes in their new No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 R, while newcomers Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer won the opening round, followed up by a third-place finish in the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R.
