Aric Almirola won the Xfinity race while Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT came in fifth with Boston’s Kaz Grala placing 20th while Kyle Weatherson was 22nd. Blair Perkins finished 30th with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT placing 37th, Weatherson and Perkins both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our who call Harwich, MA home.
Martin Truex, Jr won the Cup race with Middletown, CT’s Joey Logano coming in third with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT finishing 13th and Cory LaJoie turned in a 20th spot at the end. Corey is the son of two-time Xfinity Champion Randy LaJoie.
Ryan Preece also drove to a win in the Menard’s ARCA West race at that some track while Hanover, MA driver Dale Quarterley came home in 11th place.
