Promising Talent Annunziata Aspires New Chapter with Burtin Racing in Top Trans Am Class
Alton, VIRGINIA – October 1, 2024 – The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli heads to Virginia International Raceway where Burtin Racing partners with Thomas Annunziata to debut his first TA1 class race with the Series in the No. 17 Criswell Chevrolet / Castrol Chevrolet Camaro. The SpeedTour event is slated for October 3 – 6 as the 2024 season is winding down to a close.
Annunziata steps into the Burtin Racing seat formerly piloted by Adam Andretti who successfully scored a race win at the team’s home track at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta and a podium finish at Lime Rock Park. Although the program had multiple mechanical ailments throughout the season, Andretti delivered solid driving and promotion for the team despite the back luck.

Flying Lizard Prepared to Close out Multi-Series SRO America Season at Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (September 30, 2024) – Two weeks after racing at the Brickyard with their Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America program, Flying Lizard Motorsport is back at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this weekend to close out the year with their multiple SRO America championship efforts. Though not in the championship hunt, the team has four entries competing to finish the season with wins in GT World Challenge America, GT4 America, and GT America.

“2024 has been a great season for many reasons,” said Program Manager Darren Law. “Although we aren’t in a fight for the championship this year, we have had multiple podiums throughout the season in each of the different classes we are entered in and we see so much potential for 2025. INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., (September 24, 2024) – Sunday evening at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Wright Motorsports celebrated a win that was a long time coming for the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R of Adam Adelson, Elliott Skeer, and Jan Heylen. The win in the inaugural Battle on the Bricks endurance race marked the first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship win for Adelson and Skeer. The successful result and consistent performance during the race, rocketed the team up from 13th to fourth in the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup, the endurance championship within the full-season IMSA WeatherTech championship.
