The three Porsche 963 fielded by Porsche Penske Motorsport at this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans will be decked out in a distinctive design. However, the fundamental look of the 963 will stay the same. The colorful designs were unveiled today (Friday, April 28) as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) race weekend in Belgium. SONOMA, Calif., (April 3, 2023) – The SRO America 2023 season began for Wright Motorsports last weekend at Sonoma Raceway. The Porsche customer team celebrated multiple visits to the podium including a win in the headlining series, the Fanatec GT World Challenge America Powered by AWS. Team veterans Charlie Luck and Jan Heylen concluded the weekend with two top-five finishes in their new No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 R, while newcomers Adam Adelson and Elliott Skeer won the opening round, followed up by a third-place finish in the No. 120 Porsche 911 GT3 R. After more than 30 years at the helm of the National Auto Sport Association, a racing organization he co-founded in 1991, Executive Director Jerry Kunzman has announced he will retire from NASA National in 2023.
Kunzman will continue to serve as Regional Director of the Northern California NASA Region, but he will be naming current COO Jeremy Croiset as the new CEO of NASA.
