Cole Custer and the No. 00 Fanttik team are looking to rebound in Friday night’s Daytona 250 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway. Sam Mayer will head back to Daytona International Speedway this weekend for his seventh NASCAR Xfinity Series career start at the 2.5-mile-superspeedway. Sheldon Creed heads into Daytona International Speedway following back-to-back runner-up finishes at the track, including a narrow loss in last year’s Wawa 250. Throughout the length of his young Xfinity Series career, it has been boom-or-bust for Creed at Daytona, as he has scored three top-tens and three DNFs across six starts. Justin Allgaier used pit strategy and a fast No. 7 JR Motorsports Chevrolet to take the lead of Saturday’s Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan International Speedway with 16 laps of regulation remaining and then held off the field in two laps of overtime – before a caution came out ending the race for an accident mid-field. BROOKLYN, Mich. (Aug. 17, 2024) – Haas Factory Team has signed drivers Sheldon Creed and Sam Mayer to pilot its two NASCAR Xfinity Series entries beginning in 2025, with both racers joining the company under multiyear agreements.
