Austin HillA three-race winner this year in the No 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet, driver Austin Hill heads into the 2025 Playoffs with reason to be optimistic but also cognizant of the challenge ahead. A big penalty for rough driving at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July cost Hill all his accumulated Playoff points and puts him in an immediate position to play catch-up.

Lou Modestino Track TalkDenny Hamlin won the Cup race at the World Wide Technology Raceway.   Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished fifth with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT placing 13th.

Conner Zilisch won the Xfinity event.  Anthony Alfredo of Ridgewood, CT came in 13th, and Thomas Annunziata of NJ ended up 20th.

Bristol Motor Speedway Facility Ready To Go For NASCAR’s Return With Bass Pro Shops Night Race Weekend

BRISTOL, Tenn. (Sept. 3, 2025) – With a little over a week remaining until the roar of NASCAR engines return to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend, Sept. 11-13, track officials said Wednesday that the rebuild project following the MLB Speedway Classic in August is nearly complete. More than 200 workers from MLB and 100 BMS operations employees and contractors have been working non-stop since the final out of the historic MLB Speedway Classic to change the facility from a baseball stadium back into its normal setting of a world-class NASCAR venue.
