NASCAR Announces 2024 National Series Schedules, Start Times, Networks

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 4, 2023) – NASCAR today announced the 2024 schedules, start times and networks for the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. NASCAR will etch another first into the record books in 2024 when the Cup Series visits Iowa Speedway in the nation’s Heartland, the latest installment in a trend that has seen Cup Series debuts at the Chicago Street Race, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and World Wide Technology Raceway – among other venues – in recent years.

NASCAR Xfinity Series – John Hunter Nemechek Hits Lucky Number Seven At Texas

They say Texas is a “go big or go home” kind of state and Joe Gibbs Racing’s John Hunter Nemechek definitely went big, securing his seventh win of the 2023 season (Auto Club, Martinsville, Atlanta, New Hampshire, Michigan, Kansas, Texas).

The win marked his second at Texas Motor Speedway and his ninth overall in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He has posted the most wins in the series (seven) this season, with his closest competition being JR Motorsports’ Justin Allgaier with three wins.

Since the postseason’s inception in 2016, the NASCAR Xfinity Series has decided its champion through an ‘elimination-style’ Playoff format, that has a 12-driver field battle it out over a course of seven weeks through three rounds, with the champion being named in the Championship Race at Phoenix Raceway.
